Travel to Hannover

You conveniently reach Hannover directly by plane from/via many cities within Europe (e.g. Amsterdam, Paris, London…) or Germany (e.g. Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg…). Furthermore, Hannover is connected to most international airports by ICE (high speed train).

In order to get a moderate airfare, it may be advantageous to include the night of Saturday, June 9, 2012, in your trip.

From Hannover airport, you may either take a taxi directly to the DORMERO hotel (approx. 25 €) or the tram (S-Bahn) to the main station, which departs every 30 minutes. The ticket fare for public transportation from the airport to the hotel including train change at the main station is 3,00 € for a single one-way ticket and 11,10 € for a group day ticket (2-5 persons).

From Hannover Main Station, you reach the DORMERO hotel again by taxi (approx. 8 €) or by Metro (U-Bahn) line 1 and 2 (direction “Laatzen”) or 8 (direction “Messe-Nord”) within 10 minutes. Please use the exit “Schlägerstraße” (short distance ticket at 1,50 €).
